Grants from the Mercer Island Rotary Foundation

Mercer Island Rotary is committed to assisting community-based groups and programs that promote social change. We believe that by assisting people to take greater responsibility for their own well-being and for the communities in which they live, we can create a better future.

The Mercer Island Rotary Foundation raises money and makes charitable contributions in accordance with the following guidelines:

  • Contributions to schools for educational scholarships
  • Charitable contributions for youth activities and to youth organizations within, or substantially benefiting, the Mercer Island area and/or the greater Seattle area.
  • Other charitable organizations within, or substantially benefiting, the Mercer Island or greater Seattle area
  • Charitable organizations which help alleviate suffering, wherever situated
  • Other charitable organizations approved by a majority of the members of the Foundation.
